RIDEWISE TERMS & CONDITIONS
I agree to the following relevant points of information in relation to the service I have booked with RideWise.
HAF RIDEWISE CYCLING SESSIONS
RideWise will provide roadworthy bikes for the HAF cycling sessions. However, if your children choose to bring their own bikes, they do so at their own risk and you should also note the following:
-
Except in cases where RideWise supplies the bicycle my children ride, I understand that the instructor(s) may refuse to train my children if they decide my children’s bikes to be unroadworthy. Their decision is final. It remains my responsibility that my children should not ride an unroadworthy bike. If I am in doubt as to whether their bike is roadworthy I should seek the advice of a professional mechanic.
RideWise instructors will not carry out repairs to make an unroadworthy bike roadworthy. It is my responsibility to ensure that my children’s bicycles are roadworthy before attending any cycling sessions.
-
I understand that having taken these cycling sessions it does not necessarily follow that it is safe for my children to ride their bicycles unaccompanied. To become proficient takes much more practice than sessions of this kind can provided.
-
RideWise encourages the use of a helmet however the decision about wearing a cycle helmet is entirely up to me and I will make that decision on behalf of my children RideWise will not be held liable for the results of any injury, which is later established, may have been prevented by the wearing of a helmet. If my children wear their own helmets, RideWise will not be held liable for the results of any injury that it is later established may have been caused by the wearing of their own helmets. The instructor will advise me only on the fit of my children’s own helmet but will not necessarily be able to judge from its appearance if it is in good condition.
-
I understand that my children cycle at their own risk with my authorisation.
BIKES FOR THE HAF RIDEWISE CYCLING SESSIONS
The bikes used for the HAF sessions are the property of RideWise, and are liable to the following terms and conditions:
-
The loan cycle i.e. bicycle/tandem/tricycle/or any other type of cycle loaned to my children by RideWise remains the property of RideWise at all times.
-
The loan cycles are provided to my children FREE OF CHARGE for the duration of the cycle sessions ONLY.
-
The cycles will be collected from my children at the end of each HAF Free Fun and Food day.
-
RideWise is responsible for ensuring that the loan cycles are safe, roadworthy and in good condition for the HAF sessions.
FURTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE FREE FUN AND FOOD DAYS
